Nominations open for Somerset ASA Young Volunteer of the Year Award 2018

Please nominate someone today! The time has come to nominate the Young Volunteers in your club for the Sarah Pusill Young Volunteer Award 2018.

Past President of Somerset ASA, Sarah Pusill, introduced this highly successful way of rewarding talented and enthusiastic young volunteers from around the County, donating a perpetual trophy to be held by the winner for a year.

The young volunteers can be anyone in your club who you feel deserves to be recognised for the work they do, on poolside or behind the scenes.

A panel selects the top three who will all receive prizes to acknowledge their contribution to aquatics during the past 12 months.

All young volunteers nominated will be invited to attend the AGM where the two runners up and the winner will receive their awards.

Award Criteria:
The Young Volunteer
  • is a member of a Somerset ASA Club (any discipline)
  • is aged between 14 years and 24 years as of the date of the Annual General Meeting (26 May 2018)
  • volunteers on a regular Basis
This is Somerset's opportunity as a County to recognise and reward our Young People in all that they do for our clubs and County.

To make your nomination, please download, complete and return this form (one form per nominee) to Kelly Podbury, Young Volunteer Co-ordinator for Somerset (kellypods07@gmail.com) no later than Friday 27 April 2018.
